
The Manderson MBA Class of 2011 has partnered with Tide in order to help foster support for their Loads of Hope initiative. The Tide Loads of Hope initiative was started in order to provide help for victims of disaster by means of a mobile laundromat. The mission of the program is to renew hope by providing clean clothes to victims of disaster.
On the morning of April 17th, The Class of 2011 will be hosting a 5K run and 1 mile fun walk. The 5K will start and end at the UA Arboretum. Drinks and snacks will be provided! Registration begins at
7:00am, with the fun walk starting at
7:30am and the 5K starting at
8:00am. Awards will be given out at
8:45am. Prizes are as follows (for Male and Female Runners, overall):
First Place - $250,
Second Place - $200, Third Place - $100, and
Masters Prize (Age 50+ overall) - $200, with drawings for $400 in Gift Certificates for all race participants. Every participant will also receive a Tide Loads of Hope vintage T-shirt. Presenting the Tide T-shirt at the BBQ lunch event gains free entrance and all -you-can-eat BBQ. Participants who pre-register by April 14 will only pay a $20.00 registration fee; registration after April 14 (and the morning of the race) will pay $25.00. Register online at
