Old Orchard Brands Expands Executive Team

SPARTA, Mich., Feb 11, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- HDL | news | PowerRating | PR Charts -- Leading blended fruit juice brand, Old Orchard Brands(R), has appointed Michael Clayman as vice president of sales. Clayman will oversee all aspects of the growing beverage company's sales and will report directly to Mark Saur, president and founder of the Company.

Clayman brings more than 20 years of executive experience to the position including stints at Coca-Cola Enterprises, Wal-Mart, Procter & Gamble, and Georgia Pacific. Most recently he served as Vice President of Sales at Handleman Company. His proven track record in brand management and directing multi-million dollar relationships were key factors for the nation's fourth- largest juice manufacturer.

"The ability to successfully develop and manage relationships is what this business is all about," said Old Orchard Brands founder, Mark Saur. "Mike brings a lot to the table in that regard, and we expect his addition will allow us to advance our position as the nation's leading premium bottled beverage manufacturer."

Old Orchard Brands is currently the fourth-largest manufacturer of bottled juice in the nation, and the second-largest producer of frozen juice concentrates. Today, Old Orchard products can be found in nearly every major grocery market in the country.

Clayman's hiring follows the announcement that grocery executive Henry VonSalzen joined the Old Orchard team as eastern regional manager.

Clayman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, and his MBA in marketing from the University of Alabama. He and his family currently reside in the northern Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills.

Whit Yates as Managing Directors in the Firm's Private Client Services (PCS) Group. Messrs. Bradford & Company in Birmingham, Alabama as an account executive. Mr. Carvalho is a member of the American Economics Institute, Southern Center for International Studies, and " Who's Who in Finance and Industry." He holds a BA from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from the University of Alabama.

Mr. Yates has particular expertise in advising wealthy families and executives on diversification strategies following a wealth event, as well as derivative hedging strategies, restricted stock sales and asset allocation with a particular focus on the alternative asset class. He began his career at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He holds a BA in philosophy and MBA from University of Georgia and did post graduate work in philosophy at Oxford University in England.
