Wendi Boyen
Boyen, 39, is a senior vice president for Regions Financial Corp.
and leads the company’s north central Alabama public, institutional and
not-for-profit group. Over the past five years, her group’s revenue has
doubled and the team currently manages $675 million in deposits and
more than $700 million in credit commitments.

Philip Currie
Currie, 29, joined J.H. Berry & Gilbert Inc. in May 2003 and has
quickly made a name for himself as one of the brightest young stars in
Birmingham’s commercial real estate industry. He is now director of the
commercial real estate firm’s office services group and has helped make
several major deals for the company. In 2008, Currie represented the
building owner of a building leased to Children’s Hospital, which was
one of the largest office building leases of the year.

Devon Laney
Laney, 30, is chief operating officer of Innovation Depot, which is
the area’s high-tech business incubator. He currently works with and
assists 56 businesses with strategic plans, marketing strategies and
detailed financial analysis. He is also a member of the Birmingham
Venture Club’s board of directors.
